Modalities:

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu is a form of massage in which I use my feet to deliver the pressure. I recommend this modality if you like very deep pressure (though the pressure can always be adjusted). You can leave your clothes on and receive a series of deep compressions or disrobe and receive a lubricated massage including compressive and gliding strokes. With your permission, I can also provide joint mobilization and stretching.

Swedish

Swedish massage is a moderately deep, oiled massage which utilizes long, rhythmic, gliding strokes to lull the you into a deep state of relaxation. This modality emphasizes a holistic approach to the body in which transitions in tempo, rhythm and pressure are as smooth as possible. Clients report that they sink into a hypnotic or trance like state as a result of this treatment.

deep tissue

Deep tissue massage is a great modality to receive if you are dealing with chronic tension, injury or pain. I use little to no oil when performing deep tissue massage. This is so that I can more easily manipulate the fascia between the skin and muscle. In order to provide the most benefit, we will focus on just one or two areas of the body. Time is the main ingredient in this treatment. It is not always the depth pressure but the amount of time and focus on an area that does the trick.

Rates:

All massage modalities are 120 dollars for 1 hour, 160 dollars for 90 minutes and 220 dollars for 2 hours. Modalities can also be blended to suit the need of the client. Private yoga zoom or in person sessions are 80 dollars.
